Watercolors HS

In this class, students will be introduced to materials and equipment, pencils, pens, paints, brushes, paper and sketchbooks. Drawing techniques will include carbon paper and a little sketching. We will experience color mixing - how to make new colors from mixing two colors. We will try wet-in-wet and wet-on-dry painting, splatter painting and several other fun techniques. Through a cross curricular approach, the goal of this class is for students to enjoy the creative process and is especially suitable for those students who think they can't paint or draw.
