Spanish Culture HS

This multidisciplinary introductory Spanish language and culture class provides students an avenue to be introduced to the language in such a way that they learn the grammar as well as how to communicate orally in the language. A good, working knowledge of English grammar is an advantage to any student taking this course. Students will advance their skills in the language to narrating about their lives in the past and future tenses. Their vocabulary grows as well as their ability to function in the language with an emphasis on compound tenses and the subjunctive mood. Literature is introduced and students learn to converse on a variety of topics. Students also complete a culture study through a multimedia project.
