Michigan Cultures MS



In this multidisciplinary course, students will be learning through technology, the geography of Michigan including the Great Lakes, major waterways and trade routes. They will learn the causes and participants of the French & Indian War, the Indian Uprising, and the War of 1812. Major and minor Indian tribes, Marquette & Jolliet, the Great Fire of 1881, Michigan's Underground Railroad, Edison's life and inventions, statehood, and mining in the U.P. will also be included in this class.
