African American Literature

African-American Literature guides students through the various cultural periods of African-American history through literature. This course explores the narratives of Africans and African-Americans whose contributions have shaped the world. Students are exposed to African-American literature and culture from the past to the present and learn how these works have profoundly impacted literature as a whole.
