Upper EL Science (Hybrid)

The Classic Series is split into two options: the Grammar Stage (for grades 1-4) and the Logic Stage (for grades 5-8). Both series include a full year (36 weeks) of lessons plans. Based on a classical science education methodology, the teacher’s manual and student workbook work together with subject-specific “spine” references (not included; parents must obtain separately) to create a curriculum that explores science through hands-on inquiry, information, writing, and a science project. Grammar Stage programs have expanded Teacher Guides and feature teaching information with each weekly lesson plan, topical book lists, and adult-led demonstrations. Each level is made up of two books, a Teacher's Guide and Student Workbook. The Student Workbook holds the workbook pages for reach type of activity including narration pages, experiments pages, pictures, and narrations.
