World History CR

Students in World History learn about significant events, people, and places from 1500 A.D. to contemporary times. Studying world history allows students to consider historical relevance of people, places, and events. In this wide-ranging course, students learn how the world and its inhabitants were shaped over time, and, in the process, students gain a better understanding of the role that geography plays in world history. The historical tools covered in this course help students to foster an appreciation for the history in which they are living.
