ADV MUSICAL THEATER - DANCE HS

In this high school level class, students will explore many multidisciplinary aspects of dance & choreography within musical theater. They will be taught advanced dance techniques and explore musical theater dance genres and styles, including contemporary, ballet, jazz, Latin, lyrical, rock, and tap. This class pursues cross-curricular training through movement, music, and technology to study the human form in musical theater and investigate performers and the history of musical theater. This course will culminate in a demonstration showcase at the end of the semester.
